The Hong Kong Aviation Club together with YMCA has organized an Aviation Open Day 2009 on Sunday, September, 2009 in HKAC headquarter in Kai Tat Airport. HKRCSS is honored to be invited to join the exhibition. Model clubs including Jet Club and Power Aircraft Club were also invited. The exhibition is opened to the general public who are interested in aviation. There are many games related to aviation organized by various organizations and companies. There were also real helicopter on display in the flying field. Unfortunately, all the helis were ground temporary  because of the accident happened last May.  However, visitors have a chance to board a hot air balloon for a short ride. HKRCSS exhibits material about r/c gliding and its activities. Some real model gliders are on display which attract many visitors to its booth..  With complement of video shows and flight simulator by other r/c clubs, this event is definitely a success. Thank you all for those involved in making this exhibition memorable.
