Hong Kong F3F League 2024, Match 7 - July 7, 2024
The 7th match was held on the 7th day of the 7th month of 2024. 8 pilots joint the competition held on the South facing slope of Cheung Ngau Shan.
The competition started at 10:10am and ended at about 4:15pm, and a total of 15 rounds were completed. Wind condition was stable and the competition ran smoothly.
As an inland slope the air in Cheung Ngau Shan is largely affected by thermal activities so varies between bad and good conditions are expected. But with 15 rounds completed the wind condition factor should be averaged out.
In round 8 after Kolosun finished his run and ready for landing, he lost control of his model and it flew out of sight. It looks like it was a radio interference because Sunny also reported that he experienced
several momentary radio problems before. Sadly, Kolosun went to find his model and had to quit the game. Philip, also using Futaba radio as Sunny and Kolosun, decided not to fly any more.
So round 8 and onward only 6 people left for the competiton. Once again, Sunny won the first place in Cheung Ngau Shan. He is really good at this site. The second and the third places are Stanley Chan and Ben.
The fastest time came to CM Cheng with his 40.93 seconds made in round 4.
