F3F Slope Racing Interest Group
We are a group of R/C sailplane pilots who love flying fast!
F3F is an FAI-sanctioned competition (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale / World Air Sports Federation). The task is simple:
fly 10 legs of 100 meters each along a closed course in the shortest possible time—the fastest time wins. Although the rules are straightforward,
the event demands considerable knowledge, skill, and experience, which is what makes it so addictive!
HKRCSS has been organizing F3F competitions since 2002. Interest has grown steadily every year, and we now have over 30 active F3F pilots.
We have run the Hong Kong F3F League since 2007. Our pilots have also competed in international F3F events and achieved strong results.
In addition, HKRCSS is one of the founding organizations behind the Typhoon Race—the annual Asia-Pacific F3F competition,
established by F3F enthusiasts from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Australia.
