F3F Slope Race in Ma On Shan

OK, another fierce F3F contest! 16 r/c pilots gathered in Ma On Shan east-facing slope early morning on Sunday, 27 August 2006. The wind God, however, probably was not happy with these guys who are always begging for more and more (wind)! So, the punishment this time is a two-hour wait under the hot sun! By mid day after the intervention by the rain God, they finally got some marginal wind to kick off the competition. Wind speed varied from 3 to 4m/s and occasionally dropped to 2m/s, so contest was intermittently on and off the whole afternoon. Finally, 6 rounds of contest were completed. The winner is Au Chi Fai who showed off excellent piloting skill under diverse lift conditions. The best time title went to Y.C. Lui with a 60.12s. Y.C. seems to be able to lure C.M.'s Demo to work his way. Congratulation to the winners! Here are the detailed scores for the race:
